Dec. 26th, 2009 11:45 amThis should be a great post to embarrass myself with a year from now. Christmas was awful, the day after has been worse, and I'm going to spend the day drinking alone and watching romantic comedies. I hate romantic comedies.
In summation, I vote to get rid of Christmas. Also, I'm only just now watching HP movie number 6 and I have mixed feelings. I haven't loved an HP movie since PoA. It was the only one that felt like the director owned the film rather than the other way around. And the visuals were beautiful even if the acting was uneven. I liked the touches they put in around Harry's relationship with Dumbledore. AD fascinates me and I always like to see more touches of him being human and his complicated feelings about Harry. But, on the whole, it seemed disjointed to me.
Also, just saw Sherlock. Great movie and RDJ was gorgeous. Guy Ritchie needs to slow down, but the slash potential was high without being something I yearn for in order to patch up a bad movie.
